LEED workshop for the BC Wall and Ceiling Association
Cost: BCWCA members $200 per person, non members $250.00 per person
What do ceiling and wall contractors need to know now that LEED is here to stay? In this workshop, you will learn the LEED requirements for documentation and submittals pertinent to the wall and ceiling profession and take away working templates for your next LEED projects. Julie Hardy, a Green Building Project Manager and LEED accredited professional with LightHouse, will provide information on the specific LEED credits that affect the wall and ceiling materials and practices. This one-day workshop will review construction waste management, indoor air quality management, low emitting materials for adhesives, sealants, paints and coatings, as well as regional materials and materials with recycled content. Specific examples will be provided and reviewed as part of the in-class exercise; you are encouraged to bring any submittal information from your LEED projects.
